1À cette question l’A. répond négativement, avec raison. Le changement d’architecture de la tombe « maison » de Cyrus à la tombe rupestre n’implique aucun changement décelable dans les pratiques funéraires, qui sont avant tout celles de l’inhumation. Une des différences qu’il reconnaît, celle de la tombe individuelle pour Cyrus, tombe familiale à partir de Darius, est même affaiblie par le cas du monument incomplet de Taḫt-e Rostam près de Persépolis, tombe probable datant du début du règne de Darius, qui contenait non pas une, mais deux fosses (cf. c.r. n° 33).
