Le site RDT info, rebaptisé en 2007 Research*eu, est un magazine trimestriel européen en ligne, gratuit, édité par la Commission européenne à Bruxelles. Il présente l'actualité scientifique européenne et les résultats de recherches à l'attention du grand public : étudiants, journalistes, ONG, notamment. En mai 2009 52 numéros, dont quelques éditions spéciales, ont déjà été publiés autour de thématiques et événements divers, tous disponibles en PDF. 

Le site diffuse des informations généralistes sur la recherche européenne ainsi que les dernières décisions politiques sur les nouvelles découvertes scientifiques.

Le site propose également des présentations en ligne sur «la recherche européenne en action» rédigées pour les non spécialistes et traduites dans au moins onze langues de la Commission européenne. Il compte plus de 25 000 pages et propose une syndication.

Le site oriente l’internaute selon son profil via la rubrique « Qui êtes vous ? » et comporte des liens vers CORDIS un site officiel réservé aux acteurs et participants aux programmes cadres de la Commission européenne. Il est également possible de recourir à l'index et à ses nombreux mots-clés et découvrir tous les sous-sites existants. Vous pouvez demander une version papier en remplissant un formulaire en ligne. Il est édité en langues anglaise, française, allemande et espagnole à raison de dix numéros par an.Toutefois, les pages au contenu plus spécialisé sont rédigées en anglais.
