Presentation

The Cahiers de l’École du Louvre is an e-journal which appears twice a year. It was launched in 2012 to coincide with the reorganization of graduate studies at the École du Louvre, and it proposes articles written by master and graduate students, as well as by lecturers and researchers. It aims to represent all the domains which are taught or studied at the École du Louvre: art history, archaeology, epigraphy, history of civilizations, anthropology and museology. This broad range of disciplines, which reflects the École du Louvre’s pluridisciplinary intellectual activities, thus addresses a wide and varied public. The articles are published in English or in French, and include a summary and a short author’s biography.

Each issue generally includes five to twelve articles or more.
