Social networks, sociosemantic networks and communication phenomena

This issue of the Revue internationale de communication sociale et publique revolves around the analysis of social networks and socio-semantics and the study of various phenomena of communication in specific communities. The issue brings together seven texts: a comparative semantic analysis, a new approach for the study of digital memes, the use of block modeling to verify the Matthew Effect, the development of a map of relationship networks from a regulatory framework, a mixed methodology for studying social conflicts, and an experiment allowing for the collection and comparison of semantic and social data. In conclusion the coordinators of the study propose a new approach to the study of leaders emerging from groups. The seven articles of this study offer a new approach on the study of social networks and semantic networks and contribute to the field of communications studies through their methodological developments well beyond their specific results.
