This issue addresses, in a comparative way, the realities of the Sri Lankan diaspora, in majority Tamil, for the past three decades it has steadily flowed into Europe outside the borders of the Commonwealth. He focuses on the complexity of this migration in terms of the plurality of linguistic and religious socio-economic dynamics. The identity of the Tamils in diaspora, created through exile and the conflict propagated by the rebels, is today confronted by the return of peace to Sri Lanka.
