Abstracts

The Generative Passion. Predation, Exchange and Candoshi Marriage Linkage. – The idea that a predatory mode of relation predominates among the Candoshi motivates the author to question the role of exchange and marriage alliance linkage in the functioning of the society. Based on the research on consanguinity and affinity in kinship studies of lowland South America, he proposes some elements that help to define the theoretical state of predation: a pathemic tension which engenders the structuring dynamic.
