Since 1996, the Cahiers de philosophie de l’université de Caen have been the successor to the Cahiers de philosophie politique et juridique, founded in 1986 at the Presses universitaires de Caen. This annual publication responds to questions of moral and political philosophy by combining legal and political analyses with metaphysical questioning. The journal seeks to not separate fundamental political and philosophical interrogation and to reconcile erudition and the search for the truth. The Cahiers de philosophie de l’université de Caen are joining OpenEdition with their three latest issues available, including two in full open access.
