Created 30 years ago, Mappemonde reflects upon the contributions made by images to the understanding of the organisation of space and territorial dynamics. The geographic image is represented in the journal in all its forms: maps, sketches, cartograms, processed images (aerial, satellite, LIDAR), 3D, animated and dynamic representations, SIGs, etc. This annual journal is not confined to one discipline and publishes across different fields: ecology, archaeology, urban planning, and architecture. Published by the UMR ESPACEMappemonde is joining OpenEdition with its four latest issues available in full open access.
