Horizons/Théâtre

Horizons/Théâtre presents the performative and theatrical practices of the entire world, via research that marries aesthetic analysis with socioanthroplogical and historical study. Its contributions, from varied geographical perspectives (Africa, America, Asia), cover a variety of artistic practices (popular theatre, new dramaturgies, theatre of Amazigh (Berber) expression). The journal attaches importance to actors of the stage and cultural life themselves, enriching this field of study with their testimonies and experiences. Created in 2012 and published by the Presses Universitaires de Bordeaux, this biannual journal is joining OpenEdition with its four latest issues available in full open access.
