Nouvelles de l’estampe

Nouvelles de l’estampe was founded in 1963 by Jean Adhémar, the curator and custodian of the Cabinet des Estampes at the French Bibliothèque Nationale. The journal considers stamps and etchings from their origins to the present day and approaches the printed image (woodcuts, lithography, intaglio) from an artistic, cultural and technical perspective. It welcomes contributions by academics and curators as well as amateurs, art traders and artists. Published annualy by the Comité national de l’estampe, Nouvelles de l’estampe is joining OpenEdition with 34 issues available in full open access.
