Technè. La science au service de l’histoire de l’art et de la préservation des biens culturels

Published for the last 25 years by the Centre de recherche et de restauration des musées de France (C2RMF), Technè is dedicated to the study and preservation of cultural heritage. Its themes cover very varied topics: polychromy of ancient and medieval sculpture, textile arts, obsolescence of contemporary artworks, etc. This biannual journal welcomes authors from wide multidisciplinary horizons (physicists, chemists, archaeologists, philosophers, artists, heritage restorers, etc.) and international contributors whose work is published in English, Italian and German. Technè is joining OpenEdition with its five latest issues available, four of which are in full open access.
