Interfaces. Image Texte Language

Founded in 1991, Interfaces is a semiannual journal dedicated to studies on intermediality, the relations between text(s) and image(s), literature and art, history and visual sources, as well as to the history of the visual and plastic arts and the epistemology of images. Issues are thematic and ascribe particular importance to iconography. The journal’s publication languages are French and English. The journal, which is published under the aegis of the College of the Holy Cross, Université de Bourgogne and Université de Paris, is launching its site on OpenEdition with its eight latest issues available in full open access.
