Since 2014, the Centro Interdisciplinar de História Culturas e Sociedades da Universidade de Évora (CIDEHUS) has published Hamsa, an interdisciplinary journal dedicated to studies in the humanities of Judaism and Islam in the Iberian Peninsula and in diasporas. Published annually, Hamsa offers comparative analyses of historical, philosophical, literary, anthropological and sociological discourses on the period stretching from the Middle Ages to the contemporary era. A multilingual journal (English, Portuguese, Spanish and French), Hamsa is launching its site with its six latest issues available in full open access.
