The Revue de géographie historique is a digital open journal that is published twice yearly. Published by the Association française de la Revue de géographie historique, the journal was created in 2012 with the aim of disseminating research on leading questions in geography while promoting a historical approach. It covers various topics relating to political, economic, rural, urban, social and cultural issues in all regions of the world, and highlights the diversity of approaches found in historical geography – whether French or international. It does this through both in-depth articles and book reviews. Comprising a series of thematic issues, the journal is joining OpenEdition Journals with seven issues available in full open access.
