Regards croisés. Revue franco-allemande d’histoire de l’art, d’esthétique et de littérature comparée

Founded in 2013 and published annually by the organization Franco-allemande de l’histoire de l’art et de l’esthétique, Regards croisés seeks to untangle the mutual misunderstandings of the current state of research on art history, aesthetics, and comparative literature in French and German—most of which stem from a dearth of translations. The journal’s mission is to increase the visibility of German works and to offer a unique, critical look at them by both Francophone and Germanophone researchers, as well as to create a space for scientific dialog between the two countries. Regards croisés is published annually, with articles in both French and German. It is joining OpenEdition Journals with open access to its three latest issues.
