Textus & Musica. Revue d’études interdisciplinaires
Created in 2020, Textus & Musica fosters dialog between philology and musicology. The annual journal was founded by the French-Italian research group Philology and Musicology. It seeks to extend interdisciplinary reflection on the musical poetic compositions of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, with a focus on studies of vocal music in all forms and from all traditions in any cultural area in Europe up to 1600. Textus & Musica is published by the Université de Poitiers and accepts articles in French, Italian, and English that offer perspectives on both text and music. It is joining OpenEdition Journals with open access to four issues.
