La pluriactivité dans les sociétés littorales XVIIe-XIXe siècle
Abstracts
The littoral constitutes an interface in which the uses of the sea do not determine big difference between the inland and seaboard populations. The link with the sea is variable. The call to the sea is too often called upon the qualify, in the name of a determinism or of an irresistible force, the choice of the residents who choose a job linked to the sea. On the contrary, the concept of pluriactivity allows to analyse the complex relations between the populations of the littoral and the sea.
