Autour d’Yves Morice de Coetquelfen

Réflexion sur la notion de réseau dans le monde des officiers au XVIIe siècle

p. 195-226

Abstracts

General Attorney from 1651 to 1682, Yves Morice seems to be an isolated man among the officers of the Chambre des comptes. But the attentive observation of his relationship, alliances, activities and career reveals actually the importance of the social backgrounds in which he moves and which had given him access to this eminent function. Intimately acquainted to the world of the trade, the seigeurial leases, the royal finances, the courts ou justice and the Parliament, the personage allows to wonder about the forms of construction of the social link, on the multiple networks of influence and interdependence at the borders of the middle-class and the nobility in Brittany of XVIIth century.
