Présentation

The Annales de Bretagne were created in 1886; they became the Annales de Bretagne et des Pays de l'Ouest in 1974. The quarterly journal is a joint publication by the seven universities in France’s northwest regions: Angers, de Lorient (Bretagne-Sud), de Brest (Bretagne occidentale), de La Rochelle, du Mans (du Maine), de Nantes, de Poitiers, de Rennes 2 et de Tours (François-Rabelais). The journal is a showcase for the dynamism of historical research in these universities. It aims to diffuse historical works relating particularly to the west of France, but not exclusively.
