1The aim of the Author is to show the peculiarities of each space in the Hellenistic residential building of Tell Beydar. These are defined on the basis of the archaeological findings and of the architectural remains brought to light in each room of the building. Indeed, materials found in situ can provide information about the possible use of the rooms in the various phases of occupation. Special interest attaches to the presence of tools for textile activities, found in different rooms of the building in connexion with rooms containing common installations for domestic life, such as cooking pots, fire places, braziers, and tannurs.
