Between Mountain and Sea

2Zoe Paterson Macinnes's work is a result of her island heritage. She combines personal observations of land and sea to explore themes of identity and belonging. Zoe’s film work is focused on Scottish cultural projects, such as Between Islands Project and organisations alike.

Zoe Macinnes

Zoe Paterson Macinnes is an award-winning filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in the Outer Hebrides. Zoe completed her BA Degree in Film from Edinburgh Napier University in 2018 and is currently studying for an MLitt Degree in Scottish Heritage from the Orkney College UHI.
