In October 2023, a targeted archaeogeophysical prospection survey was carried out in the southwestern part of the lower town area of the Kalemegdan Park in Belgrade, Serbia. During this campaign, a not previously covered area with difficult accessibility was surveyed, as well as an area that had already been examined during an earlier geophysical survey in 2006 (Miletic & Miletic, 2008). In total, 11760 m² were surveyed using a motorised Guideline Geo MIRA HDR Ground Penetrating Radar system consisting of 22 channels with a central frequency of 500 MHz. The measuring grid of the multichannel array was 6.5×6.5 cm. Due to the chosen survey date in late autumn and the therefore sparse leaf canopy, the GNSS reception with the EMLID REACH RS2+ was sufficiently good to gain precisely positioned data.
