Articulo –Journal of Urban Research welcomes two new editors on board
In May 2016, two new editors joined JUR’s board. We would like to give a warm welcome to Ben Derudder and Lucca Pattaroni.
Ben Derudder is Professor of Human Geography in the Department of Geography at Ghent University (Belgium). During the period 2011-2014, Ben was also a Marie Curie Research Fellow, associated with Monash University in Australia. In addition, he is an Associate Director of the widely known Globalization and World Cities (GaWC) research network. He has published widely in numerous top notch journals broadly covering the fields of urban geography, transportation geography and global city/firm networks.
Luca Pattaroni is senior scientist at the Laboratory of Urban Sociology at Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne where he leads the research group « City, Habitat and Collective Action ». He is member of the scientific committee of Espacetemps.net and CLARA. He has been visiting professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, visiting scholar at the University of Columbia and senior researcher in the NCCR North-South.
