ⴰⵙⵉⵏⴰⴳ-Asinag is a scientific journal of the Royal Institute of Amazigh Culture (IRCAM), dedicated to the promotion of research in Amazigh fields, without theoretical or methodological preconceptions. It is an annual, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed and scientific journal. It fills the void that Moroccan scene is experiencing in this field. Asinag is the first Moroccan scientific and cultural journal entirely dedicated to Amazigh with its linguistic, cultural and civilizational components.

The Asinag journal has two sections: Latin and Arabic. It has as its main objective the contribution to the development of scientific research in general and the Amazigh field in particular - in Morocco and the Maghreb. Thus, open to researchers from all backgrounds and all countries since its creation in 2008, it focuses on issues related to Amazigh. And this, in terms of language, education, history, archaeology, sociology, anthropology, literature, arts and modern technologies. In addition to its multidisciplinary nature, the journal is multilingual in the sense that the languages of the editorial staff can be Amazigh, Arabic, French, English or Spanish.

Determined to make Asinag a reference periodical (a centre) in its field, the editorial committee proposes subjects it considers original and topical for its thematic dossiers. For the sake of achieving the objectives assigned to it, the Journal has set up an international scientific committee, made up of researchers affiliated to Moroccan and foreign universities namely from Algeria, Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe and North America. In addition to the scientific committee, an editorial board, made up of researchers from various disciplines, works on the editorial production of the issues.
