About
The internet digital library BibNum offers a choice of founding scientific texts (articles, chapters of books) of the 19th and 20th centuries: these texts are commented by current scientists who underline their importance, explain the purpose of the author, and bring the text into the light of today's science and culture. It has been opened in 2008 by A. Moatti and the CERIMES, French organism depending of both Ministry for National Education and Ministry for Research; it is now operated now (since 2015) by FMSH (Fondation Maison des Sciences de l’Homme); since the beginning it is partly founded by SABIX (Société des amis de la bibliothèque et de l’histoire de l’École polytechnique).
