Since 1898, the Bulletin Hispanique, a scientific journal and, from its inception, a veritable institution of French and international Hispanism, has never ceased to evolve, adapting to the ever-changing horizons of research, while maintaining the high standards and knowledge to which its prestigious founders and successive editors have bound it. The journal publishes two issues per year, totalling approximately 800 pages. The articles are mainly written in Spanish and French, but also in the languages of the Iberian Peninsula, and more rarely in English or Italian. Its Varia volumes focus on the Iberian and Ibero-American spaces, without distinction of periods, fields or methodologies: history, civilisation, language and linguistics, literature and current issues. Since 1998, the Bulletin Hispanique has published special monographic issues coordinated by French and foreign specialists and covering, on the one hand, the “literary institution” in Spain and, on the other hand, changing themes: poetics, narratology, translatology, contemporary history. The journal publishes book reviews and a list of books received. It is referenced by the HCERES, ERIH, SCOPUS and WOS-AHCI.
