Abstract
Lorsque l'Etat Pahlavi a entrepris un processus de modernisation autoritaire, il a été soupçonné de servir l'étranger au détriment de l'intérêt national et il a suscité des réactions de rejet et de résistances. Les trois intellectuels nommés ont marqué ce mouvement de protestation par leur analyse de l'Occident, de la modernité, du changement social et de leurs rapports avec l'identité culturelle.
