École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc de Liège (Belgium)

The École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc de Liège (Belgium) is a higher education institution dedicated to artistic disciplines. It offers, among other programs, a long-cycle degree in Conservation-Restoration of Works of Art(ceramics and painting). The curriculum includes three years of Bachelor’s studies, followed by a Master I and a Master II with three specializations:

  • Specialized track in Contemporary Restoration Techniques and Materials

  • Advanced Master’s track (in collaboration with the University of Liège - ULiège)

  • Didactic track

The ESA Saint-Luc de Liège actively supports CeROArt both logistically and as an official member.

Haute École ARC de Neuchâtel (Switzerland)

Since 1996, the Haute École Arc Conservation-Restoration (HE-Arc CR) has been training future professionals in Cultural Heritage Conservation-Restoration. It is one of the four institutions that make up the Swiss Conservation-Restoration Campus (Swiss CRC), which brings together Swiss conservation-restoration training programs.

HE-Arc CR is a study program within the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland (HES-SO), under the Design and Visual Arts department.

CICRP, Marseille (France)

A CeROArt partner since 2010, the CICRP (Centre Interdisciplinaire de Conservation et de Restauration du Patrimoine) operates in the fields of preventive conservation, curative conservation, and restoration of cultural heritage from both public and privately protected historic monuments.

Its work involves:

  • Museums of France, historical monuments, archives, libraries, art centers, regional contemporary art collections, and other institutions preserving cultural assets.

  • Providing scientific and technical expertise to cultural property owners and managers.

  • Offering guidance, methodological recommendations, diagnostics, and preliminary studies.

  • Assisting stakeholders in conservation and restoration projects.

  • Hosting artworks undergoing restoration and conducting scientific studies (imaging reports, physico-chemical analyses, etc.).

  • Organizing multidisciplinary scientific monitoring through technical meetings and scientific committees, enabling independent conservators to carry out restoration work under optimal conditions.

Additionally, the CICRP conducts research on conservation issues and the deterioration of heritage materials.
