Benjamin Disraeli (1804‒1881): His Lives and Afterlives (Colloque SFEVE) — Frontières et déplacements (Congrès SAES)

The articles in this volume result from the SFEVE symposium held on January 25-26, 2024, and organized by Catherine Marshall, in collaboration with Emily Jones, Miles Taylor et Seamus Perry, at the University of Chicago Center, Paris to which have been added a selection of articles especially commissioned. This issue brings together 12 interdisciplinary articles with a short introduction, focusing on the many facets of Disraeli’s political, cultural, religious and literary life, as well as his legacy on contemporary political and cultural thought. The volume also includes a selection of three articles from the SFEVE workshop that was held during the SAES Conference at the University of Nancy in June 2024, the theme of which was “Crossing/Borders”. Finally, two independent articles have been added to round off this rich volume.
