About the journal
The annual journal Chroniques yéménites was founded in 1993 to present the work of researchers associated with the Centre français d'études yéménites, which in 2000 became the Centre français d'archéologie et de sciences sociales de Sanaa. The journal evolved in 1997 to become a peer-reviewed scientific journal, integrating research in various disciplines on Yemen and the other countries of the Arabian Peninsula. The publication of Chroniques yéménites was discontinued in 2013 to give birth to a new electronic journal Arabian Humanities.
