About the journal
About the journal
Études arméniennes contemporaines is a bi-annual peer review journal which was created in 2013. Articles written in either French or English which are submitted to its review committee for editing are interestingly considered by the latter, in particular, those concerning the region including Armenia, Caucasia, Turkey, the countries making up the Middle East and the ex-U.S.S.R. countries, which intertwine both geographically and historically, but also from a political and cultural point of view. The journal, which is open to comparatism, also accepts contributions which focus on other socio-geographical fields but which echo one of the themes which are specific to the area covered by the journal, such as international relations, forms of nationalism, diasporas, migration, articles based on the genocide and mass violence committed in the area, amongst others. Études arméniennes contemporaines is a multidisciplinary journal, and welcomes contributions from researchers from all the Humanities and Social Sciences.
All the articles submitted for editing are assessed twice anonymously. They must comply with the requirements which apply to the manner in which a scientific text is organized and presented and must also conform to the journal’s editing standards. Études arméniennes contemporaines also publishes research papers and study work in progress as well as thesis summaries and reviews. All of these texts may be forwarded by e-mail to the following address: eac@openedition.org
