Coordination of a thematic dossier

Each year, the 'In the Field' section (Rubrique Sur le Champ) of the first three issues of EchoGeo consists of a thematic dossier. This is the case for the January-March, April-June and July-September issues, while the end-of-year issue features a Varia dossier.

If you wish to propose a theme, please write a 2-3 page text including

- an evocative title ;
- an argument outlining the subject and objective of the dossier ;
- a presentation of the main orientations you intend to pursue;
- a list of the main bibliographical references.

To be sent to Serge Weber (serge.weber[at]u-pem.fr) and Jerome Lombard (Jerome.lombard[at]ird.fr), editorial directors, and Karine Delaunay, Editorial Secretary (EchoGeo@univ-paris1.fr).

NB. The call for articles must be launched at least one year before the planned publication of the dossier.

The EchoGéo website publishes the calls for papers in French and English (translation can be provided through the journal).

The procedure will then be as follows

- your proposal is examined by the Editorial Board, which evaluates its suitability for the editorial line of the journal and, on this basis, accepts it or not, by subjecting it to possible corrections;

- when the call for papers is validated by the Committee, a calendar is established with the journal's secretariat to specify, in advance of the planned publication date, the deadline for submitting articles and the schedule for evaluating the texts;

- the proposed articles are received by the journal's secretariat, which forwards them to you and then ensures the link with the reviewers chosen by the Editorial Board, possibly on your proposal;

- As coordinator(s), you will be kept regularly informed of the progress and results of the evaluations and it will be up to you, with a view to putting the articles online, to decide on the order of presentation of the articles selected and to write the introduction to the dossier, prior to the preparation of the issue's editorial by the Publication Director.
