La tarification des cliniques à la lumière du PMSI
Abstracts
The payment rule of french profit-making hospitals is a cost based reimbursement rule. Consequently, a significant heterogeneity of services prices can be observed in this sector. However, the cost variability for health insurance of a patient stay in a medically homogeneous group also depends on others determinants. In this paper, a comparative empirical analysis emphasizes the extent of a “medical pratices effect” in invoicing heterogeneity that seems to point partially to the impact of the payment rule on suppliers behavior.
