Martine Möbus and Eric Verdier

Abstracts

Issue of a social negotiation and support of a labour market regulatory, the vocational qualification is very different from a bank of the Rhine to the othe one : fundamentally a rule which organizes the labour market in Germany ; a simple signal that has to get its value on the market in France. The paper analyses this coordination at three levels : the place of the vocational training in its societal context ; the relationships amongst the different partners ; the implications of the qualification. The second part concerns the signalling capability of the certification. The conclusion stresses the scope of uncertainly which affects both national models.
