Education and Plurilingual Societies is meant for everyone – teachers, professionals, business people, elected officials, social workers, educators, trainers, parents, researchers, students – all those interested in the pedagogical and social issues raised by language diversity. The journal seeks to find and give information on bi- and plurilingual education as well as on what transpires on the language front in various social milieus: our aim is to connect questions related to the demands of a multilingual society, more explicitly to those of multicultural and multilingual schooling, but also to the constraints and the liberties – linguistic, cultural, political – that every society experiences in the face of the education and training of its children and youth.
