Call of Papers for a Special Issue for “LIVELIHOODS

Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

In Paris, on 4 and 5 July 2011, the LIVELIHOODS Fund was created. The aim of this fund is to promote the preservation or restoration of ecosystems on which depend the livelihoods of local communities while allowing investors to benefit from carbon credits.

LIVELIHOODS is currently developing a communication platform (www.livelihoods.eu) for all its partners. Everyone can thus keep informed about the development of the different field projects.

In this context, FACTS Reports (http://factsreports.revues.org) has decided to support LIVELIHOODS by devoting a special issue to the association.

The purpose of FACTS Reports is to assemble and share with field actors information about all relevant, effective and reproducible actions, explaining the methods employed and the results obtained, and looking at how these field actions might be improved, developed and reproduced.

An independent and international scientific publication, FACTS Reports ensures wide distribution through articles published online and assembled in the journal. FACTS Reports thus promotes the knowledge and recognition of the projects studied, at the same time soliciting the opinions of other stakeholders in the restoration and protection of sustainable ecosystems.

Subsequently, FACTS Reports can serve not only as an important platform for communication but also as proof of credibility with respect to sponsors, for example.

Within the framework of your activities, we would be grateful if we could receive an article describing your own experiences. Although manuscripts in English or French are preferred, your paper may be written in the language of your choice and with any help you may have at hand.

Below you will find a few guidelines for authors. However, if you have any difficulties with the structure of the article, please do not hesitate to contact me, Fabienne de Guillebon (fabienne.deguillebon@gmail.com).

Thanking you in advance for your collaboration, I remain at your disposal for any further information that you may require.

Best regards,

The FACTS Reports team

Fabienne de Guillebon
