Call for Papers

FACTS Reports is a unique forum that publishes manuscripts and opinion pieces related to field-based activities in the areas of economics, health, education, agriculture, and environmental issues: http://factsreports.revues.org/

The journal focuses on activities in developing countries, emerging countries, and impoverished areas of developed countries.

FACTS Reports was founded and is supported by Philippe Kourilsky, Professor at the College de France in Paris and General Director of the Pasteur Institute from 2000 to 2005. It is also supported by a panel of distinguished personalities that includes among others, Amartya Sen, Rajendra K. Pachauri, Ellis Rubinstein, Ismail Serageldin, Mamphela Ramphele, Federico Mayor and Bernard Kouchner.

Aims and Scope

The goal of FACTS Reports is to collect and disseminate knowledge and best practices on field activities. Many field actors implement projects throughout the world to address issues related to the economy, health, agriculture, education, the environment and development in general. There are many opportunities to learn from the outcomes of these projects. Therefore, the aim of FACTS Reports is to provide a forum for communicating the results to a broad audience in order to capitalize knowledge and promote good practices.

Articles are submitted to peer review. The main criterion for publication is that the articles describe actions that are useful and can be reproduced. Editorials and opinions are also published. This process ensures critical input from world experts, allows for cooperation and competition among authors, and promotes a high level of science.

Readership

FACTS Reportspromotes the capitalization of knowledge related to field actions at an international level. The journal represents the first Initiative of this type in the world. It provides key international development actors a neutral and independent platform for spreading good practices. In addition, it allows them to express freely their views and opinions, exchange experiences, and cooperate with other international development actors across the world. Additionally, the FACTS Initiative promotes activities such as international conferences, training courses, symposia, and educational awards.
