Genre & Histoire is an electronic journal created by the association, Mnémosyne ( It provides an open publication space for all researchers focussing on issues of “genre”, especially postgraduate students of history and other disciples—sociology, philosophy, anthropology, geography, political sciences, education sciences, literature, civilisation, and sports studies—whose work includes an historical dimension. Apart from academic articles, its currently has a number of different features—thesis synopses, thematic bibliographies, and biographies.
