The editorial board of the journal is composed of experienced French and international researchers. The objective is to maintain a balance of disciplines, cultural areas (North/South) and gender (male/female).
Each member of the editorial board is running for renewable two-year terms.

The editorial board also wished to have a representation of the young research in its members, and opened four seats (two titulars, two substitutes) reserved to the doctoral and post-doctoral fellows not yet titular.
Each member of the young researchers' representatives is running for a two-year non-renewable term.

Editors-in-chief
The editor-in-chief is shared by two senior researchers specializing in North America and Latin America.
The structure of the mandates is as follows: 1 year of taking up the position and adaptation, then a three-year mandate, renewable once. The position can therefore be held for a maximum of 7 years.
