Publication policy
Contribution policy
All authors of an article must have contributed to the advancement of the research through the production, analysis or processing of data, to the drafting or revision of the written text, and to the approval of the article produced in its final form and submitted to the journal.
To be considered eligible to author a text, a person must have done at least one of the following jobs in the development of the article: data curation, formal analysis, investigation, writing - original draft. The journal uses the CRedit standard to assess authors' contributions.
All authors are equally responsible for the content submitted to the journal on their behalf. Any problems relating to the content or form of an article will be raised with all its authors.
Complaints management and review of decisions
Any complaint about the content of an article should be communicated to one of the two co-directors of the journal. Under no circumstances should complaints be communicated directly to the authors. The complainant will receive an acknowledgement of receipt. Complaints will be dealt with within a maximum of 8 weeks.
After an initial assessment of the seriousness of the complaint, the co-director will decide whether it is admissible. A complaint can only be deemed inadmissible at this stage if it lacks seriousness, in which case it will be rejected, and the complainant notified of the reason for rejection.
If the complaint received is deemed admissible, the Co-Director may decide to take direct action, with prior notice to the Editorial Board, if the problem is minor and easy to resolve. If the complaint cannot be resolved directly by the author(s) complained against, the co-director will present the case for deliberation to the Editorial Board. All decisions are taken collegially by the members of the committee. The Editorial Board reserves the right to conduct a survey of all authors concerned by a complaint. Such a survey will be conducted by an ad hoc committee comprising one of the two co-directors and two external members. The Editorial Board will abide by the decisions and recommendations of the ad hoc committee.
The co-director will forward the decision and reasons to the complainant. If the complainant is successful, the measures or sanctions taken by the Editorial Board will be applied, and the complainant and the persons affected by the complaint will be notified.
A complainant who receives an unfavorable verdict from the Editorial Board may request a review of the decision by adding new elements of argument or evidence. However, the Editorial Board may refuse to review the decision if it deems the new evidence insufficient. This is the only appeal procedure available to the Editorial Board.
A complaint already dealt with by the Editorial Board will be deemed inadmissible by the Co-Director.
Handling allegations of scientific misconduct
The procedure for handling allegations of scientific misconduct is the same as above. In this case, an investigation will be conducted by the Editorial Board into the behaviour and writings of the person against whom the allegations have been made.
Change of authors
The journal does not change the authors of articles once they have been published. It is the responsibility of authors to ensure that they are eligible to be considered as authors according to the criteria contained in the Contribution Policy. In exceptional cases, the co-director of the journal will be contacted.
Conflict of interest policy
Authors submitting texts for review by the editorial board must first declare any potential conflict of interest to one of the journal's co-directors.
Data sharing policy
The journal does not share data with other individuals or organizations. If authors wish to share data, this is their decision.
Ethical monitoring policy
Any problems of an ethical nature should be reported to the journal's management. In cases where an investigation is necessary, an ad hoc committee composed of a member of management, a member of the journal's scientific committee and an external member will be set up. The ad hoc committee will then evaluate the complaint and take the necessary measures to ensure compliance with ethical publication practices.
Intellectual property policy
All published articles remain the intellectual property of their authors. Any potential violation of intellectual property rights must be reported to the journal's management in accordance with the procedures described in the various policies presented on this page. The content of the articles and the opinions shared are the sole responsibility of the authors. The magazine accepts no responsibility for the content of texts.
Modifications to published texts
Any request for modification or correction of an article already published must be based on serious grounds and concern the content or data of the article. Proposals for purely aesthetic modifications will not be considered. For all requests for modifications, authors should contact the journal's co-director.
Scientific integrity verification policy
One of the roles of the Editorial Board is to ensure the scientific integrity of the articles published by the journal. The Editorial Board is supported in this by an international scientific committee. For any ethical verification, the management will first contact the author concerned for justification. The validity of claims is then verified by the above-mentioned committees. If an investigation is deemed necessary, an ad hoc committee will be set up. This procedure is detailed in the Ethics Monitoring Policy.
