The journal Interventions économiques / Papers in Political Economy is a refereed journal interested in theoretical debates as well as in research results or debates in political economy or socio-economics, as well as analysis of the evolution of society and economies.

The journal publishes articles on all themes, but has particular interest in political economy, socio-economics, work, employment, work organization, working time, local and international development, globalization and international political economy, as well as issues on important authors in these fields.

This journal is recognized and financed by the Social Sciences Research Council of Canada, under its program for Scholarly Journals.

After the peer-review process and publication in the journal, the statements, opinions, data and analyses put forward by the authors in their writings are their own responsibility. The journal assesses the scientific quality of articles submitted, but accepts no responsibility for their content.
 
In an effort to make knowledge universally accessible, and in accordance with the principles set out in the 2003 Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge in the Exact Sciences, Life Sciences, Humanities and Social Sciences, all articles published by the journal remain the intellectual property of their authors. However, the journal has an exclusivity policy to the content it
publishes. The journal will not publish any content that has already been published elsewhere, and does not wish to see its content published elsewhere.
 
The journal asks authors whose works are published to show good faith and not to share their published works with other journals or distribution platforms. If such a project is envisaged, please contact the journal for possible exceptions, in textbooks for example.
