The Journal de la Société des américanistes is a scientific journal dedicated to Indigenous and Creole cultures of the Americas. It is interdisciplinary, publishing works in ethnology, linguistics, history, archaeology and sociology. The editors chose OpenEdition to give an online access to all issues published since 2000, while continuing to produce a printed edition. Issues are available in full open acess upon publication. All earlier issues (from 1895 to 2000) are accessible in their entirety on Persée as well as on Jstor.
