La revendication des « minorités régionales » en France depuis 1945, en Occitanie et ailleurs

La reivindicacion de las "minoritats regionalas" en frança despuèi 1945, en Occitània e endacòm mai
The claim of "regional minorities" in France since 1945, in Occitania and elsewhere
Edited by Marie-Jeanne Verny, Yan Lespoux and Martel Philippe
In December 2023, occitanists from the ReSO laboratory organized a colloquium in Montpellier on "national minorities" in post-1945 France. This issue of Lengas brings together contributions from researchers specializing in most of the linguistic areas concerned (Brittany, Catalonia, Corsica, Kanaky, Lusatia, the Occitan area being - not surprisingly - the most represented), revealing convergences and divergences between the situations. While the strictly political terrain is obviously traversed by some of these researchers, the articles gathered here obviously return to linguistic and sociolinguistic questions as revealed by the political field. It will come as no surprise, moreover, to see a return to the question of culture in general, and teaching in particular, which is clearly a priority issue at the end of this century, when the transmission of so-called regional languages through the family is weakening.
