About the journal

MYTHOS is an international journal addressed to students and scholars. Its focus is on the history of the religions of the ancient Mediterranean. The journal is conceived as a comparative and cross-disciplinary space, where historical, philological, archaeological, anthropological and sociological approaches to ancient religions intersect each other, including aspects of their modern reception as well as a historiographical and epistemological dimension.

MYTHOS publishes articles in five languages: Italian, French, English, German and Spanish. The main purpose of the Journal is to encourage the scientific debate among scholars.
