The yearly journal Philosophie antique will devote its 2024 special issue to Philosophy of Action. Papers may focus on any aspect appropriate to the philosophical analysis of action (identification, causality, imputability, psychology of action, practical reasoning...) and on all periods of ancient Greek and Latin philosophy, as well as on its reception in medieval, modern or contemporary philosophy. The study of ethical notions (happiness, virtue and vice, emotions, etc.) will be relevant insofar as it involves a precise analysis of the concept of action that such notions imply.
