Submitting a contribution

Submitting an issue

All submissions must be in line with the editorial line of the journal (linguistics, literature, didactics) and present original contributions in relation to current research. All submissions, whether linguistic, literary or didactic, or whether they combine these different fields, must be submitted to the journal in the form of a detailed argument (problem statement, provisional summary, working bibliography).

It is submitted to the Editorial Board for discussion and possible acceptance. The project leader is responsible for coordinating the dossier. On receipt of the complete application, the articles will be subject to a double-blind review.

For all enquiries, please contact: petitjean.andre2@gmail.com, annabelle.seoane@univ-lorraine.fr and sophie.lawson@univ-lorraine.fr.

Submitting a varia

Pratiques is published twice a year, with each issue focusing on a specific theme. It also has a special features section (with a maximum of 4 articles per issue), the aim of which is to publish articles that do not relate to a particular theme.

The journal's originality lies in its role as a forum for multidisciplinary confrontation and theoretical debate focusing on the didactics of French in relation to linguistics and literature.

Articles submitted for this section must take account of the journal's editorial policy. This means that priority is given to articles on research into the teaching of French as a first language, whether of a historical, epistemological or praxeological nature. Linguistic or literary articles, or even articles from other disciplinary fields, may be accepted provided that they represent a contribution to the didactics of French.

Articles should not exceed 35,000 characters, including abstracts, keywords, notes, bibliography and appendices.

Articles should be sent to Nathalie Denizot (nathalie.denizot@inspe-paris.fr) for double-blind evaluation.

Submitting a review

The editorial policy of the journal is similar to that for varia. As such, whether or not it is linked to the theme of an issue, it is desirable that the work being reviewed be recently published and likely to enrich the issues of the journal.

The editor of the review is expected to give a brief description of the work, situating its author and specifying its subject, approach and theoretical contributions. From an enunciative point of view, it is preferable for the author of the review to take a back seat as far as possible, avoiding polemics, while emphasising the contributions or limitations of the work he or she is reviewing.

Reading notes should not exceed 40,000 characters; reviews may take the form of a reading note, between 5,000 and 15,000 characters. They should be sent to Sophie Milcent-Lawson (sophie.lawson@univ-lorraine.fr) and Annabelle Seoane (annabelle.seoane@univ-lorraine.fr).
