The Revue archéologique de l’Est (RAE) publishes the most important results of archaeological research in the east of France—Alsace, Burgundy, Champagne-Ardenne, Franche-Comté, Lorraine and the northern Rhône-Alpes region. This inter-regional archaeological review is supported by the French Culture ministry and the CNRS. Founded in 1950, it is produced by the Société archéologique de l’Est (SAE), based in Dijon University, in the same premises as UMR 6298-ARTeHIS, with which it has very close connections.
