The editorial board is composed of the journal's scientific director and the editorial committee. It acts as a link between the thematic issue coordinators, authors, and experts. All articles in the thematic issue undergo double-blind peer review.

Evaluation of thematic issues

Proposals for thematic issues are submitted to the journal's scientific committee, which approves them after consulting the editorial board. Once the issue has been received, each article is evaluated by two experts: one who must be external and chosen for their scientific expertise, and one who may be internal to the editorial board. The thematic issue coordinators provide the internal issue manager with a list of experts who may be contacted. Once the list has been approved, the internal issue editor is responsible for assigning the reviews, receiving them, and forwarding them to the issue coordinators. The publication decisions are based on these reports, notifying authors of acceptance or rejection, and following up on any requested changes.

Average publication time between submission and publication: 6 months.

The thematic dossier evaluation form has three sections:

• Scientific quality (consideration of current research, bibliographic pertinence)

• Problem definition and argumentation

• Expression (quality of language, readability, accuracy of expression), in which the expert can indicate any typographical errors

These sections are followed by a final opinion with three possibilities:

To be published as is or with minor changes/To be published subject to significant changes/Not publishable
