Recherches en éducation (REE) is a generalist journal in the educational sciences.

The journal aims to publish scientific research in the field of education and training.

It is open to multiple forms of research and thus publishes articles on theoretical research, reviews of questions, epistemological, philosophical or historical research, empirical research, pedagogical or didactic research.

It is open to all contributing disciplines in the educational sciences and to all serious and rigorous methodologies.

While, the journal’s target audience is aimed at academics and researchers, it is also meant for educational professionals, teachers and training practitioners.

Its purpose is to disseminate knowledge, data and research results for integration into practice, and to participate in debates on topics related to education and training issues.

Currently four issues are published per year. They're placed under the scientific responsibility of one or two francophone guest coordinator(s). In addition to each thematic issue, there are free articles in the “Varia” section and reviews.
