AccueilInstructions aux contributeurs et...Book Reviews

The Revue Européenne des Migrations Internationales (REMI) publishes reviews of recent books and of topical collections in academic journals, in the field of international migration. The journal is also open to receiving literary essays that are relevant to the current migration situation.

As an important engine of intellectual production, the Book Reviews section aims to create a space for exchange, to contribute to the academic debate, and to provide a record of the confrontation of ideas, while offering the reader a general overview of French and foreign academic production in the field of migration. Authors should examine the critical significance of the books or topical collections concerned in order to assess their value and contribution to current research in the area. The review should highlight the key issues to be considered in relation to the object of study, the publication’s position within a disciplinary and thematic field, as well as methodological aspects. It should include a critical discussion of the theses put forward. It can be written in French, English or Spanish, with a view to promoting the visibility of publications beyond their linguistic boundaries. The target length is 6,000-8,000 characters (including spaces) and the review must comply with the journal’s presentation guidelines (https://journals.openedition.org/remi/5849).

The journal accepts unsolicited proposals, proposals initiated by authors or by the Editorial Board members and correspondents. Proposed contributions should be sent by email to the REMI editorial team (remi@univ-poitiers.fr). Decisions will be notified within three months of submission.
